When you sign up as a partner and receive a co-brand version of BenchmarkONE, we are actually outfitting you with three new accounts. They are the Demo Account, the Default Database and the Template Library Database. You will see all of these listed in your single- sign on drop-down menu here:

Here's a quick breakdown on each of these accounts

Demo Account:

Your demo database is the perfect way to showcase BenchmarkONE as your agency’s sales and marketing platform to potential clients. With our co-branding option, your agency’s logo will be in front of clients every time they login to BenchmarkONE creating a seamless brand experience. You can think of your demo database as a mini version of BenchmarkONE:

  • Fully functional
  • Contact limit of 100
  • User limit of 20

If your agency focuses on a specific industry or market segment, we recommend setting up a fake industry-related business in your demo database. From there you can create custom fields, tags and lead sources that are highly relevant to your users giving a more hands-on first experience with all that BenchmarkONE has to offer.

Cobrand Your Account Through the Partner Portal

The partner portal is in the upper right hand corner of your demo database.

  • The Demo Database is the only place you can access your partner portal
  • Only database users with admin rights will see the portal when logged in

Your Partner Portal is your BenchmarkONE command center. From here you can:

  • Cobrand your account by uploading your favicon and logo
  • View all of your client accounts
  • Sign up new clients
  • Turn your email template library on and off.

Tips for Success: Think of this account as a playground for you to bring together a sales and marketing process to show your prospects. Going through the BenchmarkONE Partner Certification Program is a great way to learn demo tips and learn how you can leverage marketing best practices with BenchmarkONE.

Default Database:

Your default database can save you serious time when setting up new clients. In this database, you’ll set up anything you’d like ALL of your new clients to have automatically. Once a new account is created, it will include anything that currently exists in your default database, including:

  • Tags
  • Custom fields
  • Email templates
  • Campaigns
  • Forms

The database is not retroactive so only new accounts will receive new assets you add. This account should strictly be used for duplication as it doesn’t function like a normal BenchmarkONE account.

Tips for Success: Existing customer accounts will not change when you make changes to your database settings. When you update or change the Default Database settings, only new sign-ups will have those changes reflected in their application.

Template Library Account:

As a BenchmarkONE Partner, you have the ability to design and manage your own custom email template library for your clients. This is especially useful if you serve a niche and use the same templates for multiple clients.

  • **Creating your own email template library will override BenchmarkONE's default library of pre-designed email templates.**
  • Select “Yes” to create your own template library in your Partner Portal.

Any emails you create in your Template Library Database will populate the pre-designed email section of client BenchmarkONE accounts. Learn more here

Tips for Success: Use the Template Library Account for email templates intended for the predesigned folder of your client accounts (replacing BenchmarkONE's default predesigned templates). This is also a great area to develop new content to push to existing accounts through our Database Duplication feature.
